Condition:
9/10 Cosmetic Condition - Used Condition. The leather upholstery is in excellent condition, with some light wear apparent at corners. The bases have some light scratches and rubs, the arm rests have some pitting to the steel on the rear. Overall, these chair is in very good condition with some light wear. Please see photos.

The original stickers and markings are intact, the details are clearly visible in the last two photos.

Antique Charles Eames chairs manufactured by ICF in Italy.
Although well known to collectors, it is not general knowledge that up until 2004 these iconic Charles Eames designs were also manufactured in Italy by the furniture makers ICF.
Based in Milan, ICF were one of the four original manufacturers who were granted a license by Herman Miller inc. to reproduce Charles Eames chairs. ICF manufactured licensed originals until the 1st January 1986, when Vitra, based in Switzerland, were granted sole manufacturing rights for Europe and the Middle East. From 1986 onwards, ICF continued to manufacture these chairs without a license, until they were forced to stop in 2004 by an Italian court ruling.
Now that ICF no longer manufacture these chairs, their rarity has only added to their value and used versions of the ICF chair are much sought after by Charles & Ray Eames collectors across the globe.
