Conceived at the convergence of engineering and culture, this wine glass is led by performance and informed by heritage. A world encompassing R+D project 8 years in the making resulting in true innovation all in one glass. With input from industry greats including Penfolds, Château Pichon Baron, Château Biac, Château Guadet, Château Canon-la-Gaffelière, Vignobles Hermouet & Jane Eyre Wines along with rigorous consumer testing resulting in a quantum leap in user controlled wine enjoyment.
The glass features 2 levels of aeration; swirl clockwise for a gentle aeration and anti-clockwise for a strong aeration. The shape will also decant for you so you can simply open and pour. The central hub allows for a smooth pour great for those delicate older wines and at its top gives a visual measure of a standard pour - 150ml.
This hand blown crystal glass has the ability to frame the work of the winemaker like none before - precisely the way you like it.
Each of our glasses are handmade by our skilled glassmakers, giving it a one-of-a-kind character. As part of the craft, slight size and weight variations, tiny bubbles, and minor imperfections are perfectly normal and add to its charm.

How does the wine glass work?
The signature directional fins of the Denver & Liely Wine Glass extend radialy from a raised hub at the bowl's base, stimulating aeration and gentle agitation with each swirl. The fins are asymmetrical, offering two rates of aeration
— subtle upon clockwise rotation and more robust in reverse giving the wine drinker more control over their desired level and oxidising the wine more quickly than a conventional wine glass.
The raised hub is an extension of the glass's stem, forming a sloped hub that promotes a more delicate entry into the bowl while hastening decantation. In addition, the core's height and the bowl's widest point indicate the volume of a 150ml pour.
Manufacturing
To make the best glasses in the world, we use the best glassblowers in the world-who happen to be in China and the Czech Republic. They're able to hand-blow glasses to engineering level tolerances with lead-free crystal. No big machines. No mass factories. All our glasses are handblown by craftsmen and craftswomen with their very own breath. A robot just can't get it right, our glasses need that human spirit.
This means that there can be slight variances in our glasses, that's just what you get with handmade items. There's a little bit of humanity in every glass and that's the way we like it. We hope it makes you cherish your glass even more.
P.S. Small scale manufacturing also means that we often run out of stock. So if it's out of stock, you've gotta be a little quicker.
